What is SoulChat?

What We Do

SoulStudio creates SoulChat, an experience where you can exchange words with characters in the worlds of anime, manga and games.

Under official licenses and in partnership with IP holders, we bring story worlds such as Orb: On the Movements of the Earth and Higurashi When They Cry to fans.

Why We Do It

A story moves us, changes our actions and sometimes changes our lives. Stories have the power to change lives.

Novels, manga, anime and games have each delivered emotion in their own way. We believe there is a kind of emotion that has not been born yet: the one that comes from stepping inside a story world and living its story.

Almost everyone has wished, at least once, “I want to go into the world of that story.” We want to make that dream come true. We are creating a future lived in story worlds.

How We Do It

For each title, we read the original work closely and design characters and experiences that stay true to its world. Under the supervision of IP holders, we handle everything from planning and production to running the experience after launch.

What You Will Do

As the titles and experiences we bring to fans keep growing, we are looking for someone to lead SoulChat’s promotion and marketing so more people can discover and enjoy it. You will take it from planning through execution and measuring results.

  • Planning SoulChat’s marketing (goals, budget, timing and channels)
  • Announcing new titles and experiences (press releases, media outreach and coordination with IP holders)
  • Running official social media accounts, and planning and running campaigns
  • Placing and managing social media and web ads
  • Planning events, tie-ins and collaborations
  • Building entry points, such as websites, that guide people who discover SoulChat into the experience
  • Planning promotional materials such as trailers and images (with the production team)
  • Analyzing the numbers and improving what we do
